Wessex Care Records Awareness Event, The Village Hotel, Thursday, 07. March 2019

Find out more about the Wessex Care Records Programme (one of the Local Health and Care Record Exemplars).
In 2018, NHS England announced the first five areas, which had been chosen to become ‘Local Health and Care Record Exemplars’.
Wessex, along with Greater Manchester, One London,Yorkshire & Humber and Thames Valley Partnership was one of the areas selected to receive up to £7.5 million over two years to develop an electronic shared local health and care record that makes the relevant information about people available to everyone involved in their care and support. The announcement recognised the work already undertaken on the development of shared health and care records across the area (Dorset Care Record and the Care and Health Information Exchange) and the investment will accelerate our investment in digital transformation across the region.
A full agenda with speakers will be sent out nearer the event.
Welcome refreshments will be provided on arrival.  A buffet lunch will be served at 12:30 (please advise about any dietary requirements).
We look forward to seeing you on 7 March.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The venue is located just off the A338 and is 1.6 miles from Pokesdown train station.  There is plenty of avaialble free parking on site.
