This series of individual craft oriented Sunday Afternoon classes is aimed at new mums and their babies/children, although all are welcome. Classes can be taken individually or as a course.
The classes provide a safe, welcoming space, where new mums can meet with other mums and participants whilst relaxing with little light crafting.
Each session has a theme and a craft which will be demonstrated, no previous experience is needed as tuition will be tailored to the individual skill level.
Equipment is provided, Hive has a number of sewing machines that can be used along with a small amount of sewing and knitting equipment. You should expect to supply your own yarns, textiles and sewing materials e.g. thread and embellishments. There may be a small supply of donated material and yarn available which can be used in return for a small donation to Hive funds.
Work sheets and handouts will be issued out during the class, which will help participants practice their new skills afterwards.
