Cooking for a Healthy Heart, Tuesdays 19 March - 16 April 2019, St Mary's Church, Tuesday, 19. March 2019

A five week cookery, nutrition and wellbeing course.
Learn to prepare delicious and nutritious cardio protective foods. Learn to cook, be creative, meet new people, build self-confidence and eat delicious food.
Week 1: Healthy start
fresh juiceturkish eggs, carrot tartar, sesame bread sticks granola, berry compote, yoghurt
Week 2: Vital bites gazpacho smoked mackerel pate, rye crispbreads, beetroot salsaroast asparagus, quinoa tabbouleh, roast pepper & walnut dip
Week 3: Super saladswatercress, apple & walnut panzanellatortillas, corn & pepper salsa, guacamoleprimavera pasta salad, halloumi cheese, pesto dressing
Week 4: Omegatastic pumpkin zinger soupteriyaki salmon, sticky brown rice, chilli seared broccoli chocolate seed brittle
Week 5: Marvellous meze kale & feta borek, tzatzikistuffed aubergines, bulger pilaf, chopped saladspiced apricots & honeyed almonds
This course is open to all, but priority places are for older generation men who are carers, live on their own or who in other ways in need. 
This programme is run by Camberley Alzheimer’s Cafe and delivered by Community Chef CIC. It has been funded by the national lottery and ITV's People’s Projects
