BCOM CPD - K-Taping as a Clinical Adjunct, British College of Osteopathic Medicine, Sunday, 24. March 2019

This is a highly practical course and will explain the use of K-Tape in the clinical environment. Techniques covered will include upper and lower limbs, back, neck and shoulder.
The learning outcomes will be:

To gain an understanding of the reasons why tape is used in clinic (introductory talk).
To gain the ability to differentiate between different types of tape, when and why one tape is used over another.
To understand the use of taping supplies (adjuncts to taping such as scissors, adhesives, tape remover etc.).
To practice a number of K-Taping techniques on a variety of body areas applicable to the clinical environment.

The CPD will be delivered by Tom Hewetson BSc Ost Med, ND, DO, MSc, Clinic Tutor and Senior Lecturer at BCOM, and Mr Barry Kleinberg B.Ost. Med, MSc, ND, DO, BA (Hons), ClinicTutor and Techniques Lecturer at BCOM and is a Senior Teaching Fellow at UCO (BSO).
A CPD Certificate for 7 Hours will be issued on completion of the INFORMATION
