Course Synopsis
The emergence of the BioPsychoSocial model of healthcare within Pain Management and Exercise rehabilitation has led to a wealth of information and literature being produced but very little in terms of how a healthcare practitioner actually implements this knowledge with their patients.  Consequently we have a generation of well intentioned and well informed rehabilitation specialists, but with lots of confusion as to how to actually implement up to date research into clinical practice.  Back to Roots aims to present a creative fully evidence informed model to support the clinician bring research to life with patients in ways that are both enjoyable and meaningful to the practitioner and the patient.  Back to Roots are renowned for their innovative, playful and patient centred approach to helping patients and communities, leading individuals from being in pain (sensitive) to beyond pain(robust) and achieving their meaningful end goals whilst being able to provide literature to support each intervention through every step of the process.  The individualised process of creating self-management with patients whilst maintaining a partnership (which increases self management adherence) is fully investigated in this fully interactive, fun filled CPD that aims to create a paradigm shift in healthcare.
Seminars Goals

Learn how to build an infinite library of options for BioPsychoSocial Exercise/Pain Rehabilitation and be able to support this with current research
Be able to create Robust patients (Physical and Mental) on a path to “self management” whilst understanding that the best way to achieve this is developing the partnership with YOU
Meshing Pain Science with Exercise Rehabilitation Adherence, not fearing this shift but embracing the creativity that this allows in clinical reasoning
